Wendy he could die if you don't take him to the vet. You must be brave and take him as soon as. It could just be a bug but you have to be sure. Sue

You know your dog Wendy and if you are so worried please take him to the vet. Better safe than sorry. If it is anything bad you don't want him suffering and if not well he will be treated for whatever it is . He does need looking at. My heart goes out to you it is so hard to know what to do. Lets us know how he goes on. Germaine x Ps don't want to raise your hopes but I think some liver problems can be helped hope it isn't that though just a bug.

Wendy, I am sure you know he must see a Vet soon. If you can't bear it, is there somebody else close to you who could take him for you? Good luck BC

If your dog has deteriorated so fast Wendy, he must be seen by the vet as quickly as possible......good luck....

Yes, take that dog immediately to the Vet. There is obviously something wrong and he needs immediate medical intervention. How would you feel if he dies and you haven't done anything? I'm sorry to be so harsh, but you know it's for the best. You're his 'mother' and you must look after him. Lew xxx

Wendy Report 29 Mar 2007 07:43

On Monday night dear Charlie woke us 3 times being sick, twice in the bedroom and also in the kitchen. I thought that he had eaten something bad as he is always nosing about in rubbish bin. He was a bit sullen on Tuesday and sick again several times. Maybe it's a tummy bug I said and decided to starve him for 24 hours. However he was still unwell Wednesday and basically just laying around, he doesn't even bark or get up when someone comes to the door. He is drinking lots of water but won't eat anything, not even drooling at our feet when we have our food. Although Charlie is 10 years old and quite lazy, he has never had any health problems. Today Charlie looks very frail, he's just sleeping on the floor and his fur which is quite long is all matted and feeling very dirty. I normally groom him and cut his fur myself but due to building works at home I was going to treat him at beauty salon. I know I should be straight to the vets but to be honest I am scared. My sister's dog had the same symptoms and she was diagnosed with kidney and liver failure and having only just lost my mum I don't know if I could cope with losing Charlie. Does anyone have any ideas?
