Hi Muffy Most interesting one in my tree is 'Whitesmith' discovered it is someone who works with soft metals to add surface decoration with files and punches! Think this is a big coincidence as I am a 'silversmith'! Alex Phillipsx |

Oh just put this on the Chimney sweep thread, I have a stonemason who worked for the Rothchilds on their home, manor? in Oxfordshire, which is where he met my greatgrandmother. |

I have a punch and judy man PMSL !! That is undoubtedly my favourite Just found the chimney sweeps - rotten job I guess but it's very of it's time so I find it interesting. Wheelwrights a couple of generations of those. A florist A 'monthly' nurse and more up to date a compositor/printer. All the rest are labourers and ag labs |
