My mum used to say: 'Don't come running to me when you fall over and break your leg', which I thought was funny, if somewhat harsh. However, with mine, I altered it slightly to: 'You won't be running to me etc', which made them think!!! maggie |

Don't know where it came from but on receiving a very small portion of something, cake etc, she would say -'you could put it in your eye and still see out'!! What a weird saying! Ann Glos |
