Hi All I have just come back from Bodmin Gaol, and they are more than happy to let us have a meet there. The date has been set for Saturday September 22nd, commencing at 1pm. The owner will be giving us a guided tour of the Gaol which will cost £5 per head. All monies taken on the tours are ploughed back into their ongoing renovation project, so there is no profit being made on that. Re food, they will fit in with whatever we want, but a suggestion was made that perhaps we could have soup and roll before the tour, and then come back for a cold meat bufett. I don't know about prices on that as yet, but I will be going back next Thursday to talk with Dave who is the head chef there, and will let you know more after that. I am also going to contact a couple of people I know from Cornwall Family History Society to see if they could come and give us a bit of a talk after the meal. Please can you let me know if you want your name put on the list. PP xx
