I think its up to him what he wants to be called and the royalty are brilliant for this country. They bring us tourism and in turn money and jobs for people to do with the monarchy. They have never caused us problems but we've caused them grief delving into their lives. Good Luck Charles and long live the King. Ive never had a King as many of you will not also so i think it will be a bit of a novelty to start with. Im not trying to pop old lizzie of by the way though. I adore the effort and commitment she has put into the job. Ross |

More for the Discussion: Will he ever become King? If he was a politician standing for Prime Minister he would he be thought of as suitable? Can a British King's wife be a Catholic? My personal thoughts are that I do not think a man who is willing to marry purely for heirs, whilst carrying on an adulterous affair, is a suitable figurehead. The Crown should jump a generation. |

Giles Brandyth made a lovely comment which I caught tonight whilst watching The Last Detective and changing during ads - it was 'Camilla's family are well known for being in the service of and servicing the Royals' or similar words. How true - she is a slut and so was her g.gmother (at least she was pretty). |

He hasn't married a Roman Catholic - it is the Parker-Bowles family that are Catholics, not the Shands. Jay |

Years ago it was rumoured that he would take the name George, but I do hope he never accedes, and that his son will be the next on the throne |

You lot want to be careful, someone could come along and shout Off with their heads, the things you have all said! Mind you, I would be losing my head too as I agree with almost everything said on here lol |

Exactly - Camilla is believed to have become a practising Catholic upon her marriage to Parker-Bowles. |
