The young 'un texted me to say he is back home for Xmas and will pop along to see me tomorrow. <3

Stay warm, Belle, and EAT if you can. I am a firm believer in eating when you're feeling off-colour even if it is hard to do so - just grit your teeth (but not too tightly, of course). :-D

Dark and wet here :-(

Just received a lovely bouquet of roses and some Belgian chocolates from my friend for running her backwards and forwards to hospital. Wasn't expected but they are gorgeous. Went to see her hubby last night and he is making good progress although he does look tired and there was a bit of a problem with his drain so that is still in for now. Still expecting him to be home sometime next week.

I am going to tackle a mountain of ironing :-(. I don't mind ironing once I've started but getting started is the problem ;-)

Lovely sunshine this morning, but it's been a dark afternoon.
The wind is picking up now, but it's stayed dry, so far.
Yesterday, we travelled on the coast road and the sea was so calm. We both commented that sadly it probably meant that small boats would cross The Channel and yes, it did happen that way.

Tomorrow starts the last week of term, at school, until 5th January.
Better get out my Christmas jumper for it's annual outing ;-)
