What a weird day of weather :-S
It was sunny and much milder, this morning and I could actually feel the warmth of the sunshine, as I walked to my friends' house at lunchtime.

We went out for fish and chip lunch at the beach cafe and when we came out, the wind was blowing really strongly and there was that fine drizzle that soaks into you :-|

Selfridges windows are wonderful. Each window shows a scene from a Disney film. Faves Lady and the Tramp eating spagetti, and 101 Dalmations watching the tv. All the tails are wagging :-D :-D :-D

Wet and grey here but milder than yesterday.

It never rains but it pours. The phone calls from Florida have got less and my sister doesn't seem too bad but last night we got a text from my son's godmother (my friend since school) saying her husband (my son's godfather) had had a heart attack. She can't drive at the moment because of a problem with her eyes so we were out until 1am picking up their car and getting it back to their house, then picking her up and taking her to get some things for her husband and then taking her back to the hospital and finally taking her back home and then coming home ourselves. They live in a different town to us.

My son is out this morning taking her to her brother's (he has Alzheimer's) and taking her home when another friend is taking her to the hospital this afternoon.

I've got an appointment later this morning at the Chiropodist and I've been trying all morning to get hold of them to see if I can change my appointment until later in the day but they are not picking up!

I must have done something very wrong in a past life :-0
