It's been a pleasant day here weather wise. But the wind has picked up quite a bit now. And it gets dark so early.

Not a lot to report really.
The antibiotics I was given on Friday for my thumb, which has had a bramble thorn in it for quite a while, have made me quite ill. Horrendous heartburn and acid reflux. Not good with my oesophagitis and hiatus hernia etc. And the leaflet said I shouldn't take them with PARACETAMOL!
So I went back this morning and they think my thumb is ok (the cream they also gave me drew out and expelled the thorn) but they have given me another antibiotic cream instead of the tablets, thank goodness.

Poor Jamaica is having a thrashing from Melissa :-(

It hasn't been too bad here today. Sunny and bright with a strong wind but not too cold. Went out without a coat but a thick jumper.

No official news from the department, which requested my PET scan in September.
I'm hoping that the fact that my follow-up chat is not until nearly Mid-November is a good sign there too :-D

Really breezy, No I'll change that to windy.
So much so that when I was walking home at lunchtime, it was like having a pulled-tight-back facelift :-0 :-0.
Not that I know what that feels like ;-)
