I absolutely loved RIOT WOMEN! I watched all 6 episodes within 24 hours! :-D :-D

Friend's daughter called round for coffee before she drives home. We reminisced about my misspent youth with her Mum - but, boy, did I enjoy my teens! :-D

She is such a lovely girl whose company I always enjoy.

Jem, I've watched two episodes of Riot Women and really enjoying it. I must say the first couple of minutes I did wonder whether it was for me but then realized it was a black comedy. Sally Wainwright is such a good a writer and her dramas always have believable characters :-D

It was dark until quite late this morning and cool but now the sun is shining and I've just hung a few bits on the line and it is quite warm in the back garden :-D

Belle, we haven't had as many fireworks yet as we usually do at this time of year, but when they start they go on for ever and are so loud they sound like bombs going off :-0

I did enjoy it very much but it is a place I go to at least once a month .

My pal's daughter called round for morning coffee before leaving to drive home.

She is coming again with her husband before Christmas, staying at the same place so we'll meet up there again. I told her that I would give them breakfast on the December morning they leave for home. <3

Well we did see the sunshine, but it then went really gloomy and dark and it's just started raining :-|
To be fair, I expected rain much earlier, so we at least had a pleasant morning :-)

In view of the forecast, we set to and cut the grass and did a bit of shrub lopping yesterday ready for this coming week's garden waste collection.

Out for quiz with ploughmans last night. Good to catch up with friends, who I hadn't seen for ages.
No, we didn't win, but our table was joint 2nd so not too bad ;-)
