Thank you Jem and Elizabeth. <3 <3

Battened down the hatches here, just in case we get the stormy weather. :-(

We have a rectangular, glass-topped table on the patio and, from a local timber merchant, K got a piece of light wood to cover it during the winter. I'm blowed if I can find it and I've looked everywhere. Will have to ask son to get into the places I can't reach. K strung two of those heavy elasticated bands that are used on car roof racks, high up in the roof space of the garage and even though I got up the stepladder I could not manage to check. I could do with several more inches in height .....

and, I burnt my bleddy dinner after going to the trouble of making a proper one! :-(

Luckily I had a ready meal in!

Enjoy your evening girls.

<3 :-D

Hi Everyone :-D :-D :-D <3 <3 <3

I tried to get on here earlier but G1 turned up.
Weather was quite nice this morning but this afternoon was dull with a slight spit of rain. No sign of the tail ends of 2 hurricanes that we were warned about. As yet anyway!

Thinking of you Joy <3 <3 <3

Hi Kath. Thank you . <3

Never had the RSV jab, Kath, but I am down for covid and flu jabs later this month. Pneumonia jab was a few years ago.

You dancing, Kath? :-D

Afternoon everyone :-) <3

A cooler dull start today, but it's brightened up during the morning and is now clear, dry and sunny.

It was actually warmer out than sitting in the school library listening to readers :-S

<3 Joy <3

Kath
I can imagine the scurrying round to get ready today. :-0
But it worked out well for getting there.

Our GP has a walk-in flu vaccination session on Saturday. We are given an hour time slot to space the uptake and it works well each year.
In one door, directed to one of the rooms, where one person vaccinates, while another logs details on the computer.
Everyone is in and out within about 3 minutes. :-)

Afternoon everyone :-) <3

Bright and breezy here so I've got a line of washng out.

Got a phone call from the doctors this morning before I was even dressed to ask if I could go in for my Covid jab in half an hour as they had a cancellation so I had to hurry (which I don't like doing) but it saved me having to get a taxi next week because it was a day when my son was working and couldn't take me. The nurse also talked me into getting the RSV jab in 4 weeks time. I feel sure that when I have that she will pester me to have the pneumonia jab after that as she's very keen to give older people any vaccine she can lay her hands on.

We've done a bit of weeding in the garden and I have to go to the chiropodist later this afternoon, so it's a bit of an up and at 'em kind of day.

<3 <3 for Joy on a special day. <3 <3
