We had the local council chap knock on our door asking a few questions like how long have we lived in this house, I said since it was built, that wasn't good enough for him, he was trying to find out how old they are, I suggested he go to the library to look it up, not the answer he was looking for but hey ho it is the only one he got.

Researching:
Frame mainly from. Reading Berkshire. Vos from Netherlands. Nelson and Sowerby from Newcastle. Pickles from Saddleworth and Australia. Bainbridge from Durham. Willmot, Wilmot. Wilmott from Berkshire.

I would have told him to go back and check the Council records as the house would not have been built without Council approval!
