Oh Boy!
The thought of possible rain has long gone. The sun came out after lunch and the temperature is climbing rapidly.

Heavy rain overnight (which woke me up) and very light drizzle now. Much cooler at around 16 degrees.

I've just had a nap too Belle whilst waiting for the doctor to phone. She woke me up :-0

Been out for a mooch and Sparkles. :-)

It was raining in fits and starts, but it was wonderful! I dont mind a drop of rain :-)

We had a lot of rain overnight and it is still drizzling now. That is good because we have just dug up all the grass in our back garden and replaced it with paths surrounded by lots of perennials . With this hot weather it has been difficult to to keep them watered, especially as a drought has been declared in Yorkshire and they are talking about an imminent hose pipe ban. Once they are established, they can look after themselves, but this first season is going to be difficult.

Ralphie & I were singing in the rain this morning......it was lovely, such a relief :-D :-D.

Still have light rain but it is so dull the cars have their lights on :-0

After the last couple of days of searing heat the drop in temp is a very welcome change ;-)

Rain was beating on the window at 2.20 am. but it didn't last that long.
About 5.30 there were a few rolls of thunder, but that too moved on.

Much more comfortable at about 20 degrees here.

Names.
We too are often in a mini-climate area with nothing like the weather experienced within just a mile or so. :-S

I’m convinced that someone in this village has a machine that stops rain :-|

It always seems to bypass us - but at least it is a lot cooler.
