	We cannot have an open fire or log burners around here. Although I dont know how they can check up on one. :-S

	We use to have a gas log burning fire but it was electrically ignited....do you need electricity to switch yours on Ann :-)

	We still have an open fire but just can’t burn anything in it because of air pollution :-( :-( I want an alternative to electricity as that’s not much use when there’s a power cut :-\| :-\| :-\|

	:-D :-D :-D :-D :-D We took ours out and now have a gas log burner :-) The fire was the heart of the home in days gone by….always tons of hot water, crumpets n toast on the embers…...the auld tin bath and towels warming in readiness of being dried off….those were the days :-D :-D :-D <3
