Illegitimacy!

Can anyone tell me if the Family Tree software can cope with illegitimacy? I had added two women as successive wives of my great grandfather, but it turns out he wasn't married to the first after all and only produced a daughter who was officially illegitimate. I can't remove the 'marriage' link using the editing button. Is there any way of doing this?

It may be that you need to put in the notes 'not married'.
If there is a child of the partnership, they will require a 'mother' in the listings, even if you don't know the name.
