We had snow in the early hours but it’s gone now. Wet and grey now :-| :-| :-|

One bit of good news.HS2 have stopped their sheet piling. It was too noisy. :-0 :-0 :-0

Apparently they underestimated the geology of the area :-0 :-0 :-0

You couldn’t make it up but at least they can’t carry on and have to apply to the local

authority again for permission to drill.

Really freezing cold and breezy but at least the sun is shining.

Just had the plumber in to fix a leak in the kitchen which has been dripping for a week at least and no idea how long before that. Sod's law that it is in a corner cupboard where it's almost impossible to reach the pipes and we are going to have to have that one cupboard made to order and replaced as the wood has all swollen. :-(

Only the second person to enter our house in 10 months.
