Andys mum you are very lucky you are not here! The wind picked up last night and carried on through and is still a force9!! Kept me awake all night.

Just to add to that the ferry didn't sail and when my Tesco order came, I was minus, carrots, onions, potatoes and mushrooms and no fresh fruit or bread!

So yes you are lucky to not be here.

However I hope you manage to celebrate in some other way.

Stay safe

Such a shame isn't it. We have cancelled our holiday in August which was to celebrate our diamond wedding so know how you feel. However, as lomg as we still have each other that is a celebration in itself I think. <3 <3 <3 congratulations anyway, also to your son and daughter in law. :-) :-)

OH and I are supposed to be on a cruise to celebrate our diamond wedding anniversary in June, but coronavirus has put paid to that!!

Today we should be visiting Stornaway in the Outer Hebrides, but looking at the weather, which is wild, wet and windy, and which is supposedly worse in the north of Scotland, I am actually quite glad not to be bouncing around on a ship!! :-)
