I remember 'My Boy Lollipop', but it was Prince Buster with 'Al Capone' in 1967 that awakened my love of Ska - but it was Millie who introduced him to the British public <3

We used to dance along to Enjoy Yourself by Price Buster, and The Guns of Navarone by The Skatelites.

Millie was not a one hit wonder. As MW has said she was a leader in ska music based in Brixton with a world wide following. If you liked MBL listen to "Sweet William".
