Saying a last goodbye to our loved ones is such a difficult thing to do but finding comfort in the fact they are reunited with special people gone ahead does help. There are some lovely words on here that show how much Tec was appreciated and I hope his family will get to read the tributes.

I will be thinking of Tec tomorrow and rembering our lovely friend.

I will be thinking of his daughter and her family at this sad time-
May knowing that you are in the hearts and thoughts of others help you all through this time of sorrow.

Tec's funeral will be this Friday.
sadly I will be in London looking after my granddaughter as it is school holidays, so I wont be able to go, which is very upsetting for me

They are having family flowers only and any donations will be shared between Air ambulance Wales and Tywyn Hospital.

The Duchess once took a flight in the air ambulance when she was in a hypo. Afterwards she was very annoyed because she didn't remember anything about it and she had always wanted to go in a helicopter.
Tywyn hospital was where Tec spent many months recuperating after his operations, they were really good to him, he even had a full scale office set up in the corner of his room, surreptitiously connected into the hospital internet system.They also looked after him for his final days

So Sad to hear that Tec has passed over now with his beloved Wife.

So sad to hear the news that our dear friend Tecwyn has passed away , my thoughts go out to his daughter ,son-in-law , Granddaughter and family and friends . We had so many laughs over the years on the Aussie thread and Tec was always there with a kind word in times of trouble . I feel blessed that I had him as a friend . Rest Peacefully dear man , re-united with his Duchess . The love goes on x

I am so very sad to hear of our Tec’s passing, most of us new that it was just round the corner but that dose not make it any easier in excepting the news. Tec will be greatly missed by us all he was a lovely kind gentleman and a wonderful caring friend . Rest In Peace my dear friend,free from pain now Tec and reunited with your Good Lady .

Like all of us Tec joined GR for help in researching his family history and then venturing onto the chat boards where we have all found a wonderful friendship through chat ,if it was not for the chat boards we would never of known about the lovely people we have had a natter with and in some cases peeps have made arrangements to meet.

Tec was a regular on SueMaids thread and was thrilled to bits when he met Sue, Linda and there husbands in Wales. When I started the Welsh thread Tec wished me luck and he also joined in with the rest of the gang with all the fun and banter and not forgetting the Welsh Lessons which caused many laughs then the antics of the rain dance which was very entertaining and what fun. We have shared many emails and phone chats and also photos but sadly never met in person.

Tec’s memories will live on within the GR community for his lovely and wicked sense of humor and not forgetting is stories of traveling round the world while working on the cruise linners some of which had us in stiches and not forgetting the stories of Yanto his lovely four legged friend and the other dogs he had which there names I have forgotten .

Tec lead his life to the full once he retired from the cruise liners, he was addicted to antique sales where he would buy anything that took his fancy, he told me on a few occasions that he had to sneak the odd item that he purchased into the house before his good lady saw it and then display it where he thought best and then wait for any remarks which was not long coming “ did you really need that “ was the usual remark from his good Lady ,the way Tec told me these stories you could not help but to burst out into a laughter .

Tec was always on the go either decorating or busy in his garden which he was very proud of he loved the wildlife around him including feeding is garden birds, he kept winding me up about all the Goldfinches he had knowing that was the one bird I never saw in my garden. he was always so positive and got on with life the best way he could although he was in great discomfort he supported others including myself, he was a fighter to the end after several major operations he would bounce back but sadly this last health problem was to much for him.

You are going to be missed my dear friend and never forgotten.
