Just read about your loss and I'm sure you that your lovely husband will be as near to you as always on your special anniversary day. Big hugs to you now.

Prickles, you have nothing to be sorry for, you weren't to know, if anything I should have said my late husband and I got married not 48 years ago on Christmas Eve as I mistakenly did,but 58years, so I apologies to you. I have so many wonderful memories and I celebrate the privilege I had of being married to such a wonderful person and being loved by him not only on Christmas Eve but every day.

Sorry, beginning to sound a bit like a Mills and Boon novel.
I am hoping to be on line a bit more in the New Year, lots of twigs to sort out on my tree and said tree to get down in print, but will make time to come on chat, I enjoy the jokes and can't believe the Phantom Finger, thought I'd led a sheltered life but they are unbelievable.

For now Goodnight and God Bless to One and All.

Unfortunately my Dear Husband passed over 11th October 2012 five days after my birthday, although he had been ill for 18months it was very sudden and unexpected. He had five by pass grafts in 1988 and pacemaker fitted six years ago and had been very well until 18months ago when he was diagnosed with stage 11 diabetes and the obligatory gout then everything started failing. He enjoyed his life and was thankful for his renewed life after the operation and we had something special, although I am only just coming to terms with being on my own but with lots of support from family and friends.

Have been singing carols since the 1st December, neighbours .must think I've lost the plot also put my tree up then. I love Christmas. We even got married on Christmas Eve 48 years ago.

Can't help singing of a promise that Christmas is bringing,
I am floating along on the crest of a song,
There are bells in my heart and they're ringing.

Can't help crowing,
Folks don't like it,
I know, but I'm glowing:

I can't help what they say;
It affects me this way,
And I gotta keep singing all day.

;-) :-D

Thanks very much, you've saved my sanity. Must have heard it o n TV' cos I haven't got a CD of Phantom music, they seem to be using a lot of classical songs and music in adverts at the moment.

Sorry for the delay in answering , had to go and give , the present boss in this household his tea i.e. Choccy the Cat.
