If you are on an FB page is there a way of searching for a specific name ,say, 'Theodore Roosevelt' ( mentioned in a posting by an unknown person) without scrolling through everything?

Thankyou :-D

There's a search box on the right at the top on most pages.

If you are on a 'group' page there is a symbol of a 'spyglass' on the left hand side where you can search for names or keywords.

Sorry edited to say should have been right-hand side !

If you are in a group Rose you can search for old posts, by clicking on the magnifying glass in the top line right hand side...the putting a word in like 'blocked'

Interesting what you may find :-D

Don't think you can do it on pages like GR or FMP ect

Thanks all , I can't see that there is a search option on that page, it is a group in the US so maybe not the 'usual' lay out.

It's interesting in a morbid way because it is a page dedicated to helping women avoid rotters :-0 'DontDateHImGirl'...and why am I looking you ask? lol it was a link from a search I was doing for a friend of a friend you might say...Google is an amazing tool for possibly finding out more than you wanted to know!

Looks like it is a community page rather than a group
