Oh yes, Neil Oliver, but I would not like him to be my tutor. I can't follow his delivery at all . Just won't stay in my head.

Ok .. weird but true
Nigel Slater.
Adam and Nigels Farm thingy?
There is something about a man who can get me so enthusiastic about making my own bread ... makes recipes so simple and is just huggable.
He is just so nice

When I was young, the men, usually in films, who I fancied seemed to be on the lines of Dirk Bogarde, Louis Jourdain, anyone spiv like with a moustache lol, but since you asked the question, Rose, I find the most fascinating man on television recently is Simon Schwarma, historian, who presented The Story of the Jews. He has charisma and passion in bucket loads and looks not at all like my youthful crushes :-D

He has to have a brain, am drawn toward the science-y types or geeky historians :-D Don't like tactile, my last boss was like that, although not in a creepy way, just didn't cut any ice with me as he used it as a 'getting workers on his side' tool.

Lovely memories Shirley :-) 'Danny Boy' was often sung by my mum when I was little, her father being Daniel as was her brother and my lad :-) I do try and sing along when I hear it but the high note defeats me lol.

Gwynne, yes I had noticed ;-)

Lynda, I will agree on George but I'm not a fan of Daniel Craig. :-D ( I'm sure he'd be gutted lol) .

Tenerife Sun, good manners are important and being tactile, it is misery to be with someone who isn't if you are yourself ( I'm a hugger lol).

There are several that are nice looking, if I was interested that is, but they would have to have good manners and be quite tactile as these are two things I have always found attractive in a man :-D. My lovely late husband had all three of these attributes.

I have sky+ the history of Danny Boy, always loved the song, and I have a Danny Boy, was the programme interesting, haven't managed to watch it yet.

As for "Good lookers" George Clooney & Daniel Craig, will do me nicely :-D

Personalities? Robbie Williams intrigues me

OH my goodness Danny Boy brings back loads of memory's . Our dad had a lovely singing voice but was a very quiet man who didn't put himself forward .

We had to push him on a Christmas Eve ,after he and mum had done their annual late evening trip to the pub for a pint for him and a half for her to celebrate their wedding anniversary for Christmas Day , to get him to sing Danny Boy totally without any backing music,

Our eldest sister got her lovely singing voice from him and she did well as a semi professional singer in the 1950's

Now it's not often I am prompted to think "now he's a nice looking man' when watching tv, but i was watching a programme the other night, quite by chance, on the history of 'Danny Boy' and thought the singer/songwrite Brian Kennedy http://www.briankennedy.co.uk/ was 'interesting' :-)

Interesting programme too of course , even if the song does always make me cry .

Who do you find attractive on telly? either looks or personality, or preferably both lol.

Not a very serious thread, just something for anyone to add to, you can of course opt for a female or a male :-D
