My Dad had the same sort of arrangement with HIS pension, as long as it was replied to......he got paid!

Another good idea from DWP.
They are going to require pensioners who live abroad to have their continuing existence verified every 2 years by a professional such as a doctor or solicitor, just to make sure pensions are not being claimed for someone who is dead.
Are they going to pay the fees which will inevitably be charged by said professionals, which will undoubtedly be extortionate.
My company pension provider sends me a letter every 2 years for the same purpose, but accept my word for it that I´m still alive. (So far ;-) ;-)
