:-D

I am very much enjoying all the various versions of Scrooge that have been on tv the last week or so .

What is your favourite version? The 'straight' almost word by wordcopy ( I read the book last week also :-) ) or the 'updated' type?

Hard to choose, the George C Scott one is good, as is, of course 'the Muppets Christmas Carol :-D :-D :-D :-D

It has to be 1951film for me with Alastair Sim, Jack Warner, Kathleen Harrison, and Mervyn Johns.

I will never forget the great performances of Sim as Scrooge and Johns as Cratchit. And whoever played Timy Tim in that film was a real tear jerker :-) :-)

Muppet Christmas Carol for me, Rose. Can't get enough of it.

I also like the one with Patrick Stewart, <3

I like most of the versions that I have seen but I love the live musical show with Tommy Steele as Scrooge and some wonderful special effects - seen it twice
