Government announce another infrastructure plan

Today the government has announced their latest infrastructure plan, their 4th infrastructure plan since they came to power, however of the £375 billion announced very little of it is new money from the government - the bulk of the £375 billion being announced is money already promised in their previous 3 plans. |

Of the ones that happen, which will be few, all will overrun and will be at least twice over budget - which means they will be cut back or scrapped by successive governments while delivering less than ten percent of the anticipated social and economic benefits - or is it just me |

Announcements by Goverments of Whatever Party,are just that,whether they Implement it is another Mystery,as in Civil Service Jargon "All In Due Course" meaning never. |

OldYorkshireBloke - I agree and would add that the ten percent of the anticipated social and economic benefits will do nothing to alleviate the cost of living for the vast majority of ordinary working people. |

Thats true,more so with the young whippersnapers who think the electorate have no brains,whereas if fact we have more nous than they do,trouble is people still vote them into power, :-( |
