Depending how tufted your new carpet is you could try attaching some velcro to the doormat. |

Turtle Mats are fabulous. I've been buying them for years after seeing them in the Good Food Show. They don't move on the floor, last for years and are machine -washable. They do internet orders. Google Turtle Mats and you'll find them. |

think you can buy things called cat's claws which you attach to the corners of a mat to stop it moving |

We have a piece of coir matting fitted right across the hall (just inside the door) and it is joined by a metal strip to the carpet. This means that the mat is "fitted" and does not move (although it can be lifted to "shake it out"). It is about 18" wide and was fitted at the same time as the carpet. |

Since having a new hall carpet we have had to buy a new doormat. I know you can buy anti creep mats but has anyone come up with a solution for stopping ordinary door mats 'creeping'. Our old carpet was flat but the new one is more tufted although not long 'tufts'. We didn't have a problem before. |
