I hadn't seen it posted before. I have passed it on to several friends not on gr.

Thanks again Barry

Hello, Prickles! How are you?
It's so lovely to hear from you.

I am unaware this link has been posted before, Prickles, otherwise I would not have posted it again even though I just received it.
Obviously I missed it when it was posted. However, as a Technical Writer one of my 'home made' little foibles was (still is!)
"Duplication is better than omission." (Whatever your 'mission'.)

That said, however, I am glad some folks who also missed it were pleased to see it.

Take care xxx

The reason why not many people seem to be interested Barry...........is because this has been posted at least twice before.

It is trully amazing.

I am so pleased it has given pleasure to you, Astra, Tenerife Sun, Liz, and Susan. (Perhaps others on GR, too.)

I have watched it at least five times since posting this thread.
On another site showing it a lady says she watches it daily!

Yes, it is certainly different - and a pleasant change to watch this silent expert achieving such precision results so distant from the usual 'Texting and Twerking' that sadly seem to be the vogue these days!

I could have sworn I replied to this thread, I loved the video, the sight of those kites soaring in the skies was glorious. Thanks Barry for putting it on here for us to share.

If that was in 2004 I wonder if the gentleman is still alive and still able to fly his kites high.

I received this e-mail and link from my pal.
It's a few minutes of complete wonder watching this old chap fly THREE kites.
They are beautifully made and very large; you can see the thick ropes.
There's also the beautiful British Airways accompanying music, too!
It is PFM without a doubt!

This following blurb was on it .....

"Romancing the Wind you must watch this it’s really wonderful .

Turn up your sound and enjoy!

The guy flying the 3 kites is in his 80s, and he's from Canada. He comes to the Washington State International Kite Festival every year. His skin is like leather as he normally flies with his shirt off. He is deaf, so when he flies we hold our hands up and wave them for applause. He flies 2 with his hands and the 3rd one is attached to his waist. Enjoy!

You must watch to the end to see the amazing landing of that last kite! I would have those kites so tangled up, you could never get them separated again! And of course, make sure the volume is turned up because the music is wonderful and totally reflects the soaring of the kites. Beautiful."

Yes, it IS beautiful. Sound UP and ENJOY this treat from 2004.
Pleasures like this do not come around very often.
