You'll be OK now that you've had your 'three'.

The main thing now is to concentrate on the living and to get the plumbing fixed. It will all work out in the end, then you can see if you can treat yourself to a day out. <3

Don't need any more!

After the hoist fiasco of last week, Fred is a bit down and needs chivvying before he starts thinking he is a stroke victim and gives up on us. This has got me down a bit as I have been worrying about him and having to make an extra effort to keep him happy.

Last night the phone rang and it was OH's mother to say that his dad had gone into hospital yesterday.

Tired, we went to bed early and watched a bit of tele. The power went off. OH went downstairs to find we had a water leak in the kitchen which was shorting out the water heater. Everything turned off, stopcock off, tanks drained, back to bed. The power needs to be on for the profiling bed and air mattress and, of course, the hoist.

Phone rang again at two for OH's brother to tell him their dad was in intensive care but had rallied so we went off to sleep again.

We woke to find the power off so he went down and rectified it also ringing intensive care while he was up.

They said he was not in there and couldn't find him on the wards.Suggested he ring his brother. Sadly, his dad died last night and the family couldn't raise OH to be there as the phone was off, it doesn't ring at night anyway but you can usually hear the click and our mobile signal is very weak.

I don't need any more grief this week.
