Ah but he was dead before they did that. He through himself off the scaffold and broke his neck. The sentence was carried out on his corpse. Programme has been a bit of a disappointment so far :-(

On tonight at 8.00 p.m. ITV. On reading this - the name struck a bell, especially as Guy is reputed to have been born there. Got the website up.

Yup I stayed there in 1978 for a night. Never saw/felt a ghostly presence. They must have given the rooms a couple of makeovers. My window faced the Minster wall and I lay in bed that night and kept looking at the curtains - I hadn't even had a glass of wine with my meal. The curtains - well they were at an angle the RH side was a good 6-9" lower than the other.

I got out of bed and checked the floor - it sloped badly towards the window and the side!!! I shall be watching tonight.
