Christmas comes but once a year
But flipping heck
It don't come here
There's no lights or even a tree
No presents bought for little old me
I will spend the day alone
Wishing someone would at least phone
No Christmas pud, no coal no heat
no Christmas dinner for me to eat.
but don't go feeling sorry for me
Cos I've got my dogs and they've got me

The snow it fell so thickly
The reindeer struggled through
And Santa brought all the presents
Especially for Dan and you :-D

Susan,

A tree we'll have and presents too
though tis just me and Dan
and we will make some phone calls
to others when we can.
but there may be a drawback
instead of Santa Claus
dropping into see us,
it's just kitty and his claws.
So our tree may soon be threadbare
with baubles on the floor
and if that is kitty's gift to me
he may be shown the door!

His Sat-Nav wasn't working.
He couldn't find my address,
Just like the Police I called when ..
I was in distress.
Maybe his eyes were streaming
with fever or the cold, but please
don't pass me by dear Santa, although
I'm getting old.
I still believe in magic..
and feel it each Christmas morn..
So please dear Santa visit me ..
I've been awake since dawn!
