Get a bag of salt and vinegar crisps cut finger nail sized chunks of cucumber and cheddar put them into the bag shake and scoff - lovely snack taught to me by a hotelier in Cornwall |

A large packet of salted peanuts will do me but RR ready salted are the best to have with a lager/shandy. When i was young, my parents in the summer would always go to a pub with a beer garden. We sat outside and always had ready salted. |

Yes not in pubs but our local chippy sells pickled eggs. One that does seem to have disappeared is the fella who used to come round the pubs selling little tubs of whelks and cockles |
