Just caught a snippet of 'Gardeners World' as I bat about, Julian Clary's house and garden, which used to belong to Noel Coward...so beautiful :-)

I love the house and garden books of Beverley Nichols. Do you have a favaourite garden or house, perhaps a little known one?

My favourite garden is Hidcote (N Trust) Rose. It is beautiful.

Favourite house? I don't have a real favourite because there is something special about all of them but I do like Coughton Court. (Again NT)

I love Trebah in Cornwall, a sheltered, lush valley leading down to its own beach.

Me too Rose. Lovely house especially the front of it and garden. Would love to live there but only if I could afford the Gardener.

This country has lots of beautiful houses and gardens. Particularly like cottage gardens. Maybe Miss Marple's

Ooh yes Sheila love Trebah too, and Abbotsbury in Dorset. But Hidcote, being nearer is where we visit more often.
