I have got two people in my tree who married twice but only one marriage shows up in the records.

Are you sure there were two marriages? One couple could have been living together with the woman taking the mans name.

What dates have you found them 'married'? Could one marriage have before 1837?

Would you like to give some names?

Mistranscribed?
