The lights go on in Gloucester this weekend I think. Our decs go up early December. But all my cards are written. Can't be doing with last minute panics when things/people get forgotten.

You sure Stray? But you do have little uns, don't you?

I put mine up about a week before Christmas. That is more than early enough for me.

I've ordered me pressies on line though, just so's there will be no last minute panic.

:-D :-D :-D

John Lewis in Oxford Street have their windows decked out with the characters of their new multi-pounded advert!

I was in Marks n Sparks for quite a while to-day and I got so fed up hearing the Christmas songs being churned out over and over again. I pitied the staff who have to listen to them all day. At least I could escape outside and look up at the blue skies and feel the sunshine.

A town on the south coast has decided that the Christmas lights, tree and other seasonal decoration and themes should not have any religious connotation so that nobody is upset.

The name of the town is Christ church.

Ah well

May be it's me but Christmas lights and decorations in November and earlier give me the hump!

We all know when Christmas is every year without all the shops reminding us with their garish displays. !

No way am I against the spirit of Christmas ...... but please leave your
baubles and tinsel until a little later !

Seeing as I am working on Christmas Eve, I shall start my Christmas when I stagger home, and pour myself a glass of cheer!

I think the start of Christmas may well have been in August, in a certain shop in Knightsbridge.

Double humbug!!
