Was it a large chain or a freehouse?

When we ran a pub it was difficult to stop people coming in with their dogs (regular customers) if we upset them they would of gone elsewhere

I would certainly complain....I love animals, but I cannot stand them near work surfaces or tables....
We discipline our children ,so what's wrong with animals knowing their place?

I would complain to the management and suggest it was breaking health and safety rules;. Dog under table maybe but not up at table. Although I have to admit to not liking dogs in restaurants at all I have got used to it a bit in Tenerife where it is accepted in lots of places. But under the chair or table and away from plates and food.

.........what would your initial reaction be if some customers had 2 dogs with them, one was on the bench next to his owner with his feet on the table being fed from his owners plate????
