Click on the persons name to go into their timeline. Usually at the top right it will say message. Click on this and you should be able to write your message, and then press enter. Hope this works for you.

I'm trying to send a private message to someone on Facebook, but they've changed everything so much, it is b****** impossible. What's going on? I type my message, but there's no 'send' box. I click 'enter' and sweet fa happens - grrrr!
