Hundreds of people are expected to attend the funeral of a war veteran they never knew after he died with no close friends or relatives around him.

Anyone in Lytham St Annes, Lancashire ?

Yes the story has had a lot of coverage both in the media and on social network sites. It is now thought that several hundred will attend at 11am on Monday. - The 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month

According to the link his great nephew is attending the funeral so there will be a family representative.

Harold was certainly not alone today....to see the people at the funeral on the news to pay their respects and remember him they way a true hero should be... <3
