If he lived at the Pub, check the historical ER. They are usually held at a local main library or record office and are searchable be address.

Have you checked local authority records - if he was the landlord he would have been the licence holder and his name would have been recorded in their records.

Local CAMRA group might have details also (our local branch has for our local area)

My g uncle was landlord or co landlord of a pub in 1965 before he moved to the coast, I know the name and the area but the problem is there is three pubs with the same name in the area, what I would like to know is is there a way I could find out witch one he was in.
