Its definately colder here in Monmouth, but then we have just moved to a park home:)) No central heating here, we do have a couple of free standing heaters and one wall heater, the house has been insulated in the roof and underneath and the outside walls are being re done before christmas.....the previous owner sadly had COWBOYS do the walls about 5-6yrs ago and it now REALLY SHOWS!!!!!....but saying all that we are warm enough:)....a number of our neighbours don't use their central heating at all!!!!

Brenda OH and myself have been thinking of putting in
a coal/log burner fire only problem my marble fireside would
have to come out as have been told it would crack with that
type of heating.

Weather not been too bad up here.sun has been shining and missed a lot of the horrible storms others have experienced....but....
I am feeling the cold,felt shivery yesterday,wondered if I was getting a cold,but no...Think it's my age.
How we survived with cold houses,no central heating...well...but I suppose we got ourselves warm by sitting in front of an open fire...much healthier as well!! :-)

Same as yourself OFITG, this past week had a flare up
of RA and haven't been outside since last week and you
can forget it if it snows.

Stay warm.

Over here in the part of Kent where I live, it has got quite cold over past two days, had to put my central heating on for a while this morning, currently about 7C outside at the moment - they can keep the snow in the Cairngorms :-D I am unable to get out and about at the best of times - when we get snow I end up totally housebound :-(

Sun shining here also Ann but there's a cold wind,

Always the same at this time of year Emma, the clocks go back and it starts to get colder, takes a while to adjust. Having said that the sun is shining here and, although damp underfoot it is very pleasant, I have washing almost dry on the line, have been into town and not felt cold at all.

Past several days have been feeling the cold.
Thought what am I going to do when it gets into
Winter.

In today's paper there are 6 foot drifts of snow in
the Cairngorms...long may it stay there :-D
