Happy Samhain!

It is pronounced SAV-ahn, NOT SamHayn!.

It is actually a Celtic/Gaelic word and "mh" together form a "V" sound.

I'm with you,GIN. I am sick and tired of Halloween,carved pumpkins,children who I've never seen before coming to my front door trick or treating etc.The shops only get behind it as it's yet another way to make money.

Flew around last night visiting sisters.......... as well as dodging the usual bats (flying foxes) I had to fight my way around ghoulies & goblins, and other strange beings.
