Yahoo have now changed the way they operate my emails etc.
When I log in for my emails and then go to, say genes, it logs me out of emails.
Sorry if this sounds a bit stupid but how can I stay logged in so that I can see my mail without having to log in every bloomin' time.
Really peed off with the changes and I can't understand their help site.
Thank you
Phyll

I'm with Yahoo and have no problems with my emails other than every time I do an apostrophe I get - ' - which is a pest - it doesn't show when I type it, but it shows when I receive emails and when I look at those I've sent - I just have to remember not to use apostrophes!!

I no longer use Yahoo for GR or familysearch.org - with Yahoo I get no emoticons on GR and Yahoo no longer works with familysearch, so I use Firefox for those two

Thanks Ann

It was as it used to be this morning but when I went into it this evening the whole page had changed (as they kept informing me it would do soon).

Now I have to sign into my Email box but it doesn't keep it open after I have read emails.

I know I sound dim but I don't know what to do, just keep signing in i suppose.

I hate Yahoo - I am with Sky and they use Yahoo, in the last 6 months or so they have changed the format twice.

It was fine, now it is a pain just deleting all the rubbish......

Why can things not just be left alone. Again IF IT AIN'T BROKE DON'T FIX IT......

I have Yahoo and was quite happy with it until the changes :-(

I belong to 3 of the County rootsweb lists and Yahoo have blocked all mail from rootsweb sources as they claim their recent e-mail problems came via them-have had to open a gmail account to still receive them !

Do you tick the "keep me logged in" box ?

Elizabeth
Sorry for late reply. Yes I did tick the 'keep me logged in' box. I seem to have worked out how to get into things but I certainly don't like the new format. For one thing I have lost my list of sites that I used regularly.

had a message from Yahoo yesterday advising me to use Firefox as my browser - had already done this last week in order to get on the familysearch site

Can anyone help me ref Yahoo please. I had an email this morning sent from a yahoo.com address and sent using a Blackberry mobile.

This email was asking me for some information which included photographs. I replied and it failed to go through and I got a message saying "this person does not have a yahoo.com account"

Obviously they do as they had just contacted me using it. I have tried replying on the back of their email and also by starting from scratch and typing in their address. I do not have any other means of contact for them

I am out this afternoon but I'll look in again later.
