Browsing for ideas for gifts - got bored, decided to look at Fortnum & Masons - Christmas Hampers - dearest is £5,000.

Now I am in a quandry should I order one for us as well???? Or should I stick to our usual mix of Sainsbury/Tesco/Lidl/Aldi/Iceland with a taste of Waitrose thrown in??

Decisions, decisions!!!!!!!!

LOL @Chris :-D :-D I'd be expecting Santa Claus himself sporting an eye catching little ensemble ( ;-) ) to be included in the hamper for that price.
Reindeer optional :-D

do my Christmas shop on QVC - already got two main presents - they do "Easy Pay" spread over three or four months so it makes it a lot easier on the pocket [no interst charged]

We now have a Home Bargains in Waterlooville and I have seen some things I can get for the carers (Fred's Grotto!)

We have talked about getting the Christmas cakes done but that is as far as it goes.

All I could think of was that the recipient of the hamper probably had all those expensive goodies and more already!

I made my Christmas cake last week - got the one from Waitrose - a box with all the ingredients ready to use, just add three eggs, the butter and zest of an orange - have been "feeding" it with Amaretto - will ice and decorate it shortly
