Black/purple carrots - anyone tried them?

I bought some on Friday, apparently S****bury's get them in every Halloween, and call them 'witches noses'. |

A friend grew some of the purple carrots and gave me some to try. Thought they tasted sweeter than the orange, but messy to prepare.! |
