Seriously 17/18 year olds - will they want to play games of any type at that age.

All they will want is to play their music and dance and if poss snatch a crafty kiss.....

I like the busker idea!
def more girls .. really scary DVDs .. cider .. pizza made but needs to go in the oven.. lots of sleeping bags for living room for when they crash .
You go out for a few hours .
If thats not OK , send them to mac Orrids and have a party of your own..
Not much use am I .xxx
I just let my 2 lads get on with it and they are still breathing with no police cautions (except for the one pole dancing incident in Norwich which was beyond my control)

lol Newby, I suggested the takeaway, no deal. No room for a band...the closest that would fit is an oldtime busker with a drum on his back, bells on his ankles and a mouth organ :-)

Newby Report 26 Oct 2013 18:41

Cider, a take away menu, more girls and mates live band ( oh and very understanding neighbours..)
Do not return until midnight but get neighbours to call you if things get out of hand

This might raise a laugh! There is spillage of water tho.

Get a shallow tray and fill with water to about an inch, have it on a table so a person can stand either end of the tray. You need a referee Rose, so if it's you and it needs to be as you will be the only one knowing the end result, wear something waterproof lol

You float a beer bottle top or milk carton top on the water, place in the middle to start, and the person either end has to blow through a straw to score a goal at the other end of the tray. While the lads or girl are huffing and puffing, keep an eye on progress and when it gets near one side, bring your hand down slap in the water and shout 'Foul', the water goes everywhere and it makes the players jump out of their skins lol

Have fun

Lizx

btw no matter how much or little booze you negotiate, more will probably be brought in somehow

Move anything too valuable or special and breakable.

5 lads and 1 girl twister could be fun ;-)

My old favorite is picking a cereal box up only using your mouth, only your feet must touch the floor.

After everyone has had a turn you tear the top off the box and so it goes on until there is eventually a winner.

Does that make sense :-S :-D

Sounds like a plan to me Rose - I think you've got it sorted already :-D

Are you going to be buzzing around on your broomstick? ;-)

Given the fiendish nature of the new kitten i suggest letting it loose at the guests might be scarey enough, it has just torn up my leg....again :-|

I thought about a whodunit Susan, might try and organise something.

Currently 'negotiating' over how much ( or little) drink is going to be supplied

It's only going to be about 6, and only one girl ...... so games that involve kissing might be out ;-) ( not that I'm saying the boys can't kiss if they want to :-) )

Rambling Report 25 Oct 2013 23:04

So far the plan is some music, a scarey movie, pizzas , snacks and drink, and with a halloween theme so decorations and costumes ( not onesies lol) .
