Dizzi it's going to be even darker after early hours of Sunday as the clocks go back an hour.
So even darker at 5 pm.

Must admit I prefer Sunshine and the Spring/Summer.

Love the dark evenings and darker mornings. I sleep far better. A throwback to shift working.

I love sitting indoors, fire on, lights out, candles on (smellies preferably). A good film (weepy goes to say) and a soft furry throw over me. Aaah Bliss.

Usually asleep long before the film ends......

Hate them. Hate them. Haaaaatttee them!!!!!!!!

This is my first winter as a leisured person, so it might be different. But I just love March 1st (St David's Day). That always seems to be the day with loads of light and loads of hope.

I am sure these dark days is why Christmas is celebrated on 25 Dec. It breaks up the horror with a fun couple of days.

Know what you mean BC - just to be alive and kicking is a great feeling, but I did enjoy sitting out on my patio to-day with my friends enjoying a bit of sunshine :-D <3

I love the British seasons - all of them. I lived in the far East for two and half years and got bored with the same weather day in day out. Here we can have all the seasons in one day :-)

The weather from March 1st to November 30th is great. If only we could move to Australia, India, South Africa or New Zealand from 1st Dec to Feb 28th it would be wonderful. Plenty of sun, plenty of warmth, no massive energy bills, fresh fruit and barbies, outdoors swimming.

I have worked outside for last 10 years and winter has really got on my t.........tnerves. Dark mornings, black and dangerous evenings, cold driving rain and worse. And some of us can get very depressed by it all (Seasonal something disorder). Depressed even inside the house looking at the drizzle in the murk. :-(
