You are impressed by my detailed knowledge of the Beano aren't you?

I have not yet reached that level, That is from the Dandy.

There is still too much for me to learn yet from the Beano. Couldn't cope with two.

Surely not, Wend. Sharon's light bulb appears in a balloon above her head.

As for the answers, alas, I just don't have a clue, just a question.

Where can you buy the horns that go in a cow pie?

Well Sharron those questions are well beyond me perhaps there is a professor on board who will answer such intelligent questions, that Beano sure throws up some serious questions....I will watch this thread with bated breath for the answers so I too can be well educated :-S

Thank you.

It has certainly helped me to understand the world better.

Do all weights have their own weight written on them and are they always conveniently held where they are going to be needed on a hoist conveniently sited for the purpose?

Sharron,

You have obviously been taking your reading seriously and have remembered things very well.

I don't know the answer to your questions but I feel that you deserve a gold star for your effort.

As one who has educated myself by carefully reading my Beano I have several important questions I need to ask.

Are all bombs round and black with a fuse that fizzes when they are in use and do they all have 'BOMB' written on them to prevent them being used for an unsuitable purpose?

Do all burglars wear a striped top, black trousers, a mask, a beret with a little stalk, carry a torch and a bag with 'SWAG' written on it? Would he still be able to work if he left his beret at home or the little stalk fell off?

Do kings always wear their crown and robes and have knobbly knees?

Must sausage and mash always be served as a conical pile of mash with the bangers sticking out and do you have to hold your elbows up when you eat them and have your tongue sticking out?

Must jellies always be red and three tiered and sway over a long way when they wobble?

Do all teachers wear a mortar board and academic gown and carry a cane?
