But while I was there I went to the town hall to get absolute proof or not that one of my GG Grandfather was Mayor of that town, I was told it was c1901 , well he was but 1909 to 1910, not long but there is a plaque in a cabinet to prove it. :-)

I think that many mayors only served one year terms.
