There's a big spider in the tree next to the back deck.

How big? His/her body is about the same size as my thumb, and he's black & orange stripes.....8 skinny legs (not hairy)..... and there's a huge web.

He's welcome to stay in the tree & catch mosquitoes & flies........ but he's not allowed on the deck or inside the house!

I'm surprised he's been there for so long........ none of the birds have spotted him.

I haven't tried talking to him.
