Gervaise ran a restaurant on a Greek island. It was an idyllic life , just Gervais who cooked and served and Hans who came in to wash up and the pet lime green hairy lipped squid that lived in the tank and which Gervaise. was particularly fond of. Hans had never liked the creature and would knock the tank as he passed.

One day a Michelin inspector came in to the restaurant .Gervaise knew who it was and that the dish to impress would be 'lime green hairy lipped squid risotto' but there was only one squid available.

Knowing how important a Michelin star would be to him, Gervaise reached into the tank. The trusting little creature came over to his hand, expecting a lovely mussel. Gervaise couldn't do it, so he called Hans.

He, too, could not bear to catch the squid. Tearfully they retreated to the kitchen where fish and chips were prepared for the inspector and they faced a starless future. The squid had three mussels.

As the German explained:-

"Hans that do dishes can be soft as Gervaise over lime green hairy lipped squid."

The little green occtopus was sad his mummy wouldnt allow him to help with the washing up saying that he was clumsy and would drop things.

the gentle little occtopus so wanted to help and decided to show he could help by showing he was grown up....so for a few weeks he tried to grow a moustache and eventually with a little tache he said to his mummy ''please let me help I'm okay now and very good at washing up and it makes my skin nice''

''What makes you think that'' said his mum

''I saw the advert'' he replied ''Hands that do dishes can be soft as your face with a mild green hairy lipped squid''
