He'd need to put a shelf up first........ and there's a long list of things to do around the house before he'd get to that job.

They're on the top shelf of the bookshelf in the study, all squashed up together..... I can't reach & that's my excuse for not dusting them. :-D

The smallest one is displayed right at the front...... when he got his hole in one.

I survived.

It was a good night, the food was good, the company was good, and the speeches were short. The band was good (and loud).

Himself won the A grade nett....... another trophy! No idea where this one is going to sit, the trophy shelf is full.

Lol, for the past few years we have opted out of the golf club annual dinner, it got too boring (for both of us), speeches went on too long and the older we get the fewer there are there of the people we like(d).

Hope you enjoyed it anyway and that at least the food was good.

Researching:
I am researching the Wotherspoon family from the Old/New Monkland areas of Scotland, some moved to the Leslie and Kelty areas of Fife and I'm having problems linking the Wotherspoon's from Leslie and the Wotherspoon's from Kelty. I am also researching the Clusker family from Co. Meath in Ireland who moved to West Lothian and from there to Fife............"Vita non est vivere sed valere vita est"

for the annual dinner

Once I year I get out a "frock" and get tissied up.

I'm wearing a posh little black dress, grey stockings (tights) & heels!! I'm even wearing ear-rings, not the usual sleepers. Not me at all.

It took me longer to put on the tights than to get my hair done & plaster on the makeup.

Heels..... hate them...... my feet hurt already. Thank goodness I'll be sitting down all night.

What's the occasion? Golf club dinner. HoHum.

Thank goodness for alcohol.

I'll be nice..........!!!!!
