You have probably started a rush of people phoning their brokers to tell them to buy shares in firms who make or sell socks :-D :-D :-D

My wife used to blow my socks off, but not so much now,
as I have a bit of a job bending down and putting them on. :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

lol

On the days I can reach my socks, I think I'm doing well.

I haven't worn socks for weeks now, and probably won't wear them again until perhaps late April.

I hate winter........... or what passes for winter in this neck of the woods.

I know how you feel, have been in Melbourne when it's been raining,
windy and even snowing, and then up to Cairns and its been 70 -80f
mid-winter, quite a variation.

Frederick ~ I lived in Melbourne until seven years ago. The winters can be bitterly cold (by Oz standards). I used to think people were rude about Melbourne's weather until I moved there.......... and found out everything they said is true, especially the line.... "if you don't like the weather wait for half an hour.... it will change". Very cold in winter & boiling hot in summer.

We now live just south of the border of Qld & NSW. We might have the heaters on for a couple of weeks during "winter".

I'm not moving!!!!

LadyScozz,
You know what the weather can be like back home in Scotland.
This year, it has been uncharcteristically warm and in double figures since April.
This morning, it all changed..... it was just 6 degees centigrade when I left for work this morning , the wind was blowing a gale and by lunchtime piles of autumn leaves had blown from the trees, leaving some of them almost completely bare!
Winter is just around the corner... Brrr

6 degrees! I'd be hibernating.

It's spring here.......... in the shade on the back deck it's 27C.

We don't get horrible hot summers, it rarely gets above 35C here, but we get high humidity in January & February, it's awful! You don't sweat or perspire... you ooze!

Dramatic change to the temperatures here in Kent this morning, 7C at moment, 2 tops and 2 pair of jogging bottoms on, dammed if I am going to boost the energy companies profits :-D
